About the Course

Designed by PMI, the course provides an introduction to project management fundamentals and covers key areas such as planning, execution and risk management.

You will explore project lifecycles, roles and responsibilities, communication, problem solving and project planning. The course also covers predictive, plan based approaches as well as adaptive frameworks such as Agile.

In addition, you will develop an understanding of stakeholder communication, requirements gathering, business analysis processes and product roadmaps.

Who Is This Course For?

The course is suitable for individuals who want to develop their project management skills to help start or progress their career.

Prerequisites

To sit the CAPM® exam, PMI requires a secondary degree and 23 hours of project management education.

Exam and Certification

The CAPM® exam is not included in the course and must be purchased directly through PMI.

The exam consists of 150 multiple choice questions and must be completed within three hours.

The pass mark is determined by PMI.

Successful completion of the exam leads to the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification.
