Would you like to gain a comprehensive understanding of Agile project management and develop the ability to apply Agile principles in practice? This combined Foundation and Practitioner course prepares you for both AgilePM® v3 certification levels and focuses on Agile principles, leadership, collaboration and outcome focused project delivery.

About the Course

AgilePM® v3 Foundation & Practitioner combines both certification levels in one programme.

At Foundation level, you will develop an understanding of Agile principles, the Agile Manifesto, Business Agility and Scrum. You will also explore the Agile project lifecycle, team roles and leadership principles.

At Practitioner level, you will build on this knowledge and learn how to apply AgilePM® concepts and principles to practical project scenarios, manage risks, track progress and control Agile projects effectively.

Learning Objectives

After completing the course, you will have developed your understanding of:

• Agile principles, the Agile Manifesto and Business Agility
• How agility supports projects in a VUCA environment
• Scrum roles, values and artefacts
• The Agile project lifecycle, roles and leadership principles
• Collaboration, communication and risk management
• Key AgilePM® concepts, principles and procedures
• How to apply AgilePM® knowledge in real world project scenarios
• How to track progress and control Agile projects effectively

Course Format

The course is delivered through self paced eLearning, allowing you to study at a time and pace that suits you.

The estimated study time is approximately 28 to 32 hours.

Who Is This Course For?

The course is suitable for individuals who are, or will be, leaders or members of an Agile project team.

Prerequisites

You should have a working knowledge of Scrum before starting the Foundation course.

You must pass the AgilePM® v3 Foundation exam before taking the Practitioner exam.

Exams and Certification

The Foundation and Practitioner exams are optional and are not included in the course.

The Foundation exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions and must be completed within 40 minutes. It is a closed book exam and a score of at least 50% is required to pass.

The Practitioner exam uses objective testing and consists of four questions. You have 2.5 hours to complete the exam, which is open book. A score of at least 50% is required to pass.

Successful completion of both exams leads to the AgilePM® v3 Foundation and Practitioner certifications.
