About the Course

ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) is an introductory course focused on the principles and practices used to manage digital products and services effectively.

The course introduces key concepts such as value creation, service relationships, governance, continual improvement and the roles involved in delivering and consuming services. You will explore how outcomes, costs, risks and experience influence value and how different parts of an organisation contribute to successful service management.

You will also develop an understanding of the ITIL Service Value System, the Four Dimensions, value chain activities and the seven guiding principles. The course provides a structured foundation for applying ITIL concepts within modern digital organisations.

You receive 12 months of access to the eLearning materials from the date of purchase, allowing you to study at a time and pace that suits you.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for this course.

No previous ITIL certification is required.

Exam and Certification

The ITIL® Foundation examination is included in the course.

The exam consists of 40 multiple choice questions and must be completed within 60 minutes. It is a closed book examination and a score of at least 65%, or 26 correct answers out of 40, is required to pass.

The exam is taken online with remote proctoring.

Successful completion of the examination leads to the ITIL® Foundation certification.
