About the Course

ITIL® 4 Foundation provides an introduction to the principles and practices of IT service management.

The course explains how ITIL can be used to support value creation, align IT services with organisational objectives and improve the way services are designed, delivered and continually developed.

You will explore the ITIL Service Value System, the four dimensions of service management, the service value chain and the ITIL guiding principles. The course also introduces continual improvement and how different activities, people, technologies and processes work together to create value for customers and organisations.

You receive 12 months of access to the eLearning materials from the date of purchase, allowing you to study at a time and pace that suits you.

Exam and Certification

The ITIL® 4 Foundation examination is included in the course.

The exam consists of 40 multiple choice questions and must be completed within 60 minutes. It is a closed book examination and a score of at least 65%, or 26 correct answers out of 40, is required to pass.

The exam is taken online with remote proctoring.

Successful completion of the examination leads to the ITIL® 4 Foundation certification.
